Ok so I jst finished trimming my hair for the very first time and I found your technique so easy....thnks a bunches!! um ready to do my daughter hair tomorrow yessss more money in my pocket!!!

@WinterLibby what I do is I section off my hair and search for split ends bit by bit. This is called dusting your ends and you'll only lose 1/8 of an inch, which will grow back within 2-3 days. Also, try coconut oil treatments. My hair hasn't broken off since I've started to oil my hair. Hope this helps!

Thanks sooo much I have a few nasty split ends in my layers but now I have found a technique!

Thank you for sharing this technique. I have been a victim of scissor happy stylists and stylists who burned my scalp with a blow dryer. I'm trying to learn how to do my hair on my own so I don't have to depend so much on stylists.

Thanks for this technique my daughter has split ends up the hair shaft and for a while I was wondering how to get rid of !

thank you so much...the technique was great. It makes complete sense, and I feel pretty good about doing it myself instead of going forever without trimming until I can get to a salon.

I am going to try this method it seems simple and something that I could do. I never trimmed my own hair before so this is helpful

i love the twist technique helped me so much thanks
Just wanted to let you know I clipped my own ends for the first time yesterday using this method and I was pleased with the outcome. I love being able to take control of my own hair and not have to worry about how much hair I will have left if I let someone else do it. Thanks!
