  • Just wanted to let you know I clipped my own ends for the first time yesterday using this method and I was pleased with the outcome. I love being able to take control of my own hair and not have to worry about how much hair I will have left if I let someone else do it. Thanks!

  • @SlimThickChick : That's good to hear! Glad it worked well for you ;-)

  • You have nice pretty hair.

  • @Evemauy : Thanks!

  • Ok so I jst finished trimming my hair for the very first time and I found your technique so easy....thnks a bunches!! um ready to do my daughter hair tomorrow yessss more money in my pocket!!!

  • @WinterLibby what I do is I section off my hair and search for split ends bit by bit. This is called dusting your ends and you'll only lose 1/8 of an inch, which will grow back within 2-3 days. Also, try coconut oil treatments. My hair hasn't broken off since I've started to oil my hair. Hope this helps!

  • Thanks sooo much I have a few nasty split ends in my layers but now I have found a technique!

  • Thank you for sharing this technique. I have been a victim of scissor happy stylists and stylists who burned my scalp with a blow dryer. I'm trying to learn how to do my hair on my own so I don't have to depend so much on stylists.
