The only way to find world peace is to first find inner peace. Inner peace means not being judgmental, only seeing the good in people, loving without reciprocation, helping people, caring about the world and the poor, the downtrodden, and the displaced.

You could create a utopian government , yet it would eventually become corrupt because people will still be people, unless they can change themselves from the inside out. Than it would not matter where they were because they'd be at peace.

The day after I heard about Eckhart Tolle and read some of his work, I woke up and felt that I didn't need anything and that I had everything I wanted. This was bliss and peaceful

@doof2008 Ego would not be such a bad thing if we could use it properly, maybe like this man is suggesting. Of course if you can change yourself from inside out, definitely do it. This man talks about transformation of society.

heart" is just a figure of speech of making an emotional decision with the brain of how the act makes you feel is the reward, you would be a liar if you gave a girt to someone and it didnt make you feel good inside to do that act...thus is the reward

@doof2008 I don't think there's a logical way out of the selfish thing except to expand and or redefine the self. who we are is a state of mind. turn the me into we and the evil be helpless, thought continuity is where all the wealth is and i hope you felt this.

On the other side of staying an individual and trying to be unselfish is illogical. The only way humans will give more than taking is when they are in love. people are crazy when they are in love. we gotta be crazy in love with life.

@doof2008 You are right; doing it for the sake of respect is still ego-based. But then everything is always done for the sake of the Self. I found that the "selfish" act of creating permanent inner freedom from negative thoughts and emotions--independently from and without trying to change anything that seemed to be causing them--produces the most powerful and quickest shift in consciousness resulting in love and giving.

@doof2008 Like he said u cant force love,but it can be worked on ,by making u feel good and others..The love comes eventually because of the great feeling of giving. after repeated times others see and respect u and will do the same.. it can grow! we can teach others BY OUR ACTIONS ..Our ego is killing our kids and the future of mankind. i have not seen a better idea yet! :( .. giving can be in many forms.
