Shag - Ra has appeard on David Letterman, Americas Funniest Home Videos, Animal Miracles, On the road again, Real T.V, Japanese T.V and many others.
He also helps cook, answers the phone , has his teeth brushed, and much more.

@TreasureOne Can you tell me about the circumstances of both Phyllis & Shag-Ra's death? I am so upset that Phyllis may have died alone, heartbroken without him....any information you have.

I have only just heard about this wonderful pair....but sad to learn that they have both died. What a pity, I would loved to have emailed Phyllis & told her just what a wonderful person she was & of course how gorgeous Shag-Ra was.
It must have broken her heart after he died, she probably felt she had little to live for?
Can anyone tell me more about how Shag-Ra died & the circumstances of Phyllis's death.

Awwww. RIP Phyllis and Shag-Ra!!! What an awesome story to read!!! I am sad to hear of their death when I just now was reading about their life. How strange. Anyhoo glad to have run upon all of it. What a sweet pair:) She probably mourned herself to death over the loss of Shag-Ra:( My heart and prayers go out to her family and friends. God bless.

How did Shagra die? How did Phyllis die?

I am so sad. Phyllis passed away last year, shortly after Shag rah's death. I am, however, glad she didn't have to grieve too long.

Shag ra is the most beautiful horse I've ever seen. Phyllis you are a beautiful person to have rescued and nurtured such a wonderful horse

Phyllis, is he still a stallion or gelding?

hi, I got Shag-Ra as a stallion, but had him gelded. They were using him for breeding because of his size. He was only 14.2 and a little bit !

This made me cry after watching the miracle show. It was like you were nervous to see how he would react and Dave was totally ignorant to Shag-Ra.

we were invited back to the 10 anniversary show carnigee hall i wouldnt go it was to hard on Shag-Ra they didnt give up easy but held my ground dont think anyone has refused them before They just couldnt understand my putting Shag-Ra first
