yes , they were better as a rap rock and nu metal band but if they stayed rap rock they would of died out like the rest of the rap rock bands. so papa roach is still around because they knew what was coming. they were smart enough to know to experiment with other music like alternative rock/metal.

They still are unique, A True Papa Roach Fan would accept their music no matter what they changed. I love all their music, Not only is the band Not fucking afraid of changing it up like these other bitch bands, They also impact other people with their lyrics. If anything the fans are the ones who turned on them thinking that all they gonna do is rap all the time. That makes no sense at all. Besides Nu Metal died out years ago. Like what time do you guys live in? Update yourselves shit lolz!

people change and this is great and if somebody is always as he/she used to be, I think such a person doesn't evolve, doesn't become better. I started loving Papa Roach in 2001 and I still think they are great. They change and their music change as well, and it doesn't mean they are worse now! They are just different - which is ok.
