They built her a HUGE cage, but found that she preferred being on the chain by far as she liked sitting on the fence and interacting with local people who daily stopped by to give her fruit. She is now at a Monkey sanctuary which is great.

latest news is that "Ling Ling" the monkey is now is a monkey refuge in Luang Prabang with other monkeys and doing well. Thanks to the great people running the refuge! (Same people who are running the Bear rescue refuge at the waterfall there
).

She was rescued at a very young age after locals killed and ate her mother..happily a place has now been found for her at a monkey sanctuary... which is great!..but in the mean time ever looked after a naughty monkey? (hence the chain!)
