I think if you do some research you'll see that I am correct, and that news reporters often report on the economists that dissent, whereas most economists do, indeed, think that taxes are bad for economic growth. The argument is basically if debt is better than the taxes. And, if we are suffering an acute problem then debt could possibly make sense. Now, we have a situation where the debt burden is huge, and we're clearly spending beyond our means, unless we accept slower growth.

Actually, economists agree that tax cuts are efficient drivers of the economy. The agree beyond political lines, so that's likely a factual error.
