  • looks great, but can u successfully MIDI Dump a longer sample like up to 2.5 sec to SP1200 or only very short samples?

  • @jazzroom

    hi

max 2.5, but i suspect is a limit of the machine

  • @jazzroom

well the problem is that u can only dump a sample of the same length of the pad u are dumping... i explain

if u have in A1 a sample of 0,5 u can only dump a sample up to 0,5... so if u need a longer sampler u have to first sample manually a "white" one up to 2.5... after this u have one "white or noise" sample in pad A1 of 2.5... only now u can dump a long sample up to 2.5 seconds... hope u understand

  • @deepeightyeight I have just tried to record a silent sample of max length 2.5 sec into SP1200, than i've prepared a sample with DSP Quattro X v 2.5 ( OSX) , made sure the sample doesn't exeed 2.5 sec lengh , changed sample rate to 26040 and 12bits and MIDI dumped it into the SP1200 with great sucsess! it works :) grazzie mille P.S. there is always a little click at the end of all dumped samples no matter short or long, but i easily truncate that, no probs

  • @jazzroom

yeah is a bug... it's due software u use to dump files... with alchemy on pc it doesn't happen....(for example)

however is an easy trunc yes ;)

btw i want to try this new version of DSP quattro u use

  • hi... it's the last version of awave!

  • @deepeightyeight wow, so you CAN dump long ( 2.5sec) samples - that's great! i am on a MAC OSX and use DSP Quattro software to dump into SP1200 but for some reason it only dumps very short drum samples .... still cannot figure out how to dump longer samples up to 2.5sec.... :(

  • Hi, Finaly got this working. Its Awesome. I have some Issues with AWAVE studio though reqarding file types to save to. I have lots of samples saved on my hard disc that I want to re-use resending back and forth to the Sp1200. What should I use when saving to disc? Ive experimented. Sometimes I reload them and they are reencoded to 25.00 for no reason. What if I save a kit as an Instrument or bank?

  • FRIENDS CAN PLEASE MAKE A TUTORIAL IN SPANISH

  • Hey man, leave this video up for a while. I sold my SP1200 a year ago and I am looking for another one. And I NEED this video once I get another one. Thanks and Respect!!
