TWO CHILDREN suffered horrific burns and were taken by air ambulance to hospital after a shed fire in Melbourne's east earlier tonight.
A four-year-old boy and another boy, 2, received severe burns in the blaze. One suffered burns to his entire body, the other to his face and head.
The blaze started after 7.30pm in Hampton Park.
A woman, believed to be the boys' mother, also suffered minor burns and was taken to hospital by road.
CFA fire fighters rushed to the Fordholm Rd address and had the blaze under control twenty minutes after arrival.
They donned breathing equipment as they doused the flames in the small shed.
The cause of the fire is still unknown.
