I see you are using 3ds Max SP2 to make the animation, but on IMVU I can only find exporters for 3ds Max 7, 8, 2010 and 2011. I am using 3ds Max 9 SP2 as well and would like to know where to find the correct exporter for it. Can you help out?

@chris501906 You don't really need to do anything. you need to download the right model from 3d studio max.

can u provide a link to download the masters from imvu I cant find them. I'm sry if i seem helpless. It's so rediculous the troubles you have to go through to locate these random files all over the internet and it's even more rediculous when over 90% of them are not compatible with certain versions. Imvu should be a bit more understanding to the creators and make a starter pack download or something.

@warriorbysword2 It's all in the education center. Search: "Avatar Skeletal Anims"

when i try to create a .xmf mesh file for my objects i keep getting a thing saying select only one mesh. I am selecting my .xsf file so i dont understand what my problem is. any ideas?
warriorbysword2 1 year ago
@warriorbysword2 Select the mesh "Object" only, not the skeleton or any other parts, just select the mesh. You export the mesh, skeleton, etc separately. Export the skeleton first then the mesh, when you export mesh it'll ask you what skeleton to use, select the one you made then export it and all should be fine.
