Considering what is made I don't see the big deal about XF3. With CG you can do a lot with less, so to speak. And the William story needs some closure (to me anyway). I've imagined it a thousand times. I'm thinking along the lines of Spielberg's TAKEN. They could wrap up the entire story arch. The super soldiers for instance. At Mulder's trial Gibson sees an alien on the panel. I wondered about that. Maybe it wouldn't be the big box office hit (it wouldn't do bad), but the dvd would sell.
