The 1970 Diana Ross song "Reach out and touch ( somebody' s hand )", it's a beautiful song of brotherhood , friendship and hope between peoples .This song is dedicated to the people that work for peace, mediating,communicating and building bridges among the peoples. I think it's almost better than the 1971 John I think it's almost better than the 1973 John Lennon song " Imagine " .Diana sang this song in a lot of opportunities : Martin Luther King Celebration ( 1985) and " Tsunami : Concert of HOPE " ( NBC,1/16/ 2005 ). It reached the # 20 in the USA single charts, # 25 in CANADA, # 33 in UK and # 57 in AUSTRALIA.

To correct your writing and history of the music charts: John Lennon's Imagine is was recorded and released (and was a hit) back in 1971 (not '73). Not sure if Diana Ross' Reach Out and Touch (Somebody's Hand) is better than Lennon's Imagine, though. I think they have similar messages, though.

To judge 'the real beauty' of Diana Ross in 2011, that is only possible when you see her without makeup after she jumped out of bed in the morning. No disrespect against Diana, but I want not see her in that way!

Regarding her charisma; she has no erotic charisma on me since she's 60+, but she has still a great charisma as a live performer.

Beauty is different at various stages of life but Diana will always have her charisma, even when she looks like withered old prune, she will still be beautiful.

@doolie50 I saw her in 2005 after a break of 8 years live in concert again. She was a good looking woman on that tour, but not a top beauty .........that is over for her. 1994 was the last year of Diana's top beauty period as an artist.

A real top beauty woman, is a woman, who looks extremly beautiful without makeup!!! Diana Ross was for me from 1979-end of 1994 a top beauty with her stage makeup, no idea how she looked without during that time, because I never saw her in person without.

You are wrong, take a look at her Hyde Park performance in 2002 and her European tour in 2004, she was beyond beautiful.
