The Josephus passage in question is such a tough call. To what extent it's legit or forged I really don't think we can really say with any confidence. Jesus mythicists will typically say the whole thing was forged, historical Jesus scholars like Vermes and Bart Ehrman will say it's only partially forged (changing "he was called the Christ", to "he was the Christ"), and fundamentalist Christians will say it's completely legit. I tend to side with Vermes, but not with much confidence.

In fact the Bible condemns you for forbidding to eat what the Bible does not condemn.

1 Timothy 4:3

men who forbid marriage and advocate abstaining from foods which God has created to be gratefully shared in by those who believe and know the truth.

You do realise killing animals isn't murder. Murder applies only to killing animals.

How many animals did you kill to get your food? How many flies, inserts, worms etc have you killed?

You do realise you are eating life when you eat fruit and vegetables?

Actually on Sunday mornings I only have tea with toast, butter and marmalade. Then for lunch I had Roast Lamb.

And do you know what? The Bible says I can eat what I want.
