actually, music i not all about having fun. music is about 12 notes, and their proper arrnagement. i like how all these people claim that theyre "so into music" but can barely play anything.

but have fun. i know all too well that the noise gig is something different, but try to do something that sounds like yourself. yamatsuka noises were made tired and boring by mike patton a long time ago.

i know it requires no technique, its just fun. thats why i do it, and i know that me and my band are in now way the original, its just fun.

play the edinburgh noise scene (my home town) and enjoy it. thats what music is all about you muppet.

@flyingape11 personally, i think music theory is the best friend AND worst enemy of aesthetics. obviously, it allows musicians to create wonderful sounds - on the other hand, it also results in a severe lack of imagination (too many sheep and not enough shephards as Aphex Twin once said) :)

Maybe noise is something we want to be a part of rather than going "Oh someones done it already, oh well. One in twenty thousand artists in the world EVER has something remotely orioginal about them. Before you try and make off that everyones a bunch of talentless bigots,a sk yourself this Can you do something COMPLETELY new?
