He has a weakness to Fire so Onmoraki is good here. I sent out both Angel (fused it with Agi included on the list) and Onmoraki as well for extra damage and holding time on Inugami. Or you can use Kaendan Combination Skill by Onmoraki and fire a couple of shots from him if you can.

Warning though, the moment he uses Pulinpa (not seen in the video) on the demons even you, you're through. While confused you won't be able to access the Battle Menu for a while. Oh, he also casts Dia if he's low on HP so have those Fire skills ready.

After the battle, he will ask you if he wants you to be his Nakama so accept it and he joins you. He has a Read Mind skill, which vital to use it on a 'certain someone'.
