"empowered through her faith to make a difference"? How can you look empowered when you lower your gaze? How can you BE empowered when you lower your gaze.

One has to ask , why is this video even necessary...is it because what Westerners see of Muslim women truly is total deference to husband? Is it because Western women see Islam for what it really is? Women who are powerless to make decisions for their very own family out of their own good judgement, or even to confer as equal w/hubby?

This is a terrible thing you are saying, but if Allah wishes so that your heart must be wrapped and sealed to the truth, as he has described ones like you, then we can't stop you. Salam sister.I feel the same too.I don't call myself a hijabi yet,but I hope I soon will inshaallah.

it's pretty easy for me to wear hijab cause I already live in a Musalim country andwearing a head a scarf is a part of our culture , so I do dress modestly alhmduleAllah,only thing I'm facing now is sticking to it.I believe what made my more convenced that I should was youtube videos,specially sister Amens Khan my Allah bless her,Hijabi blogs and stuff they do encourage
