I am the nephew of the singer on this song. His name was NABAY ( A.K.A. "NICKY ROBBINS")
He was lead singer of "The Counts" a band that consisted of now legendary players "Bob Babbitt" and "Dennis Coffey." Nabay is still alive (70 yrs old) and resides in California. Originally he was from Detroit.
