amazing! only one dumass disliked one of the greatest jazz tunes ever.

A few of these songs were produced by Creed Taylor, the arranger was Don Sebesky. These sides were near the end of Wes's career and was a representation of how his music and style was commercialized to appeal to a broader audience. Needless to say the production was spot on.

Ivan the end of the song, I know what you mean. I was into wes as an 8 year child, I would grab an album by give it to may dad, he would smile and play it for me. r n b was out the door.

the most soulful track ever... this track is just unbelievable. your playing will be remembered forever wes!

when they release things like 'the 100 best guitarists of all time' they seem to miss people like Wes. A man who was self taught and never use a pick in his life!
who says people can't write tunes like this anymore CherokeeMusic?...they absolutely can...its just that the damned contemptable CORPORATIONS who have taken over the commercial airwaves don't let any truly creative music hit the airwaves if they can help it. They want it dumbed down to the lowest denominator so the music can help them sell their fuckin' PRODUCTS. I'm tired of people saying this cuz there are a LOT of cats writin' GREAT stuff but folks are too complacent to go find it and dig it
