I remember watchin dale Sr. back when I was 3, I was 5 when I watched the 01 daytona 500, Dale is my hero, and always will be, he did what I dream of doin, he died doin somethin he loved, he literally was goin to give it all he could untill he died, tryin to block on the last lap, R.I.P. Dale, it was a great ride.

@flubber342 I was 6 when he died and can remember every race I saw him win. Its almost like something wanted me to remember Dale Earnhardt's wins. I can remember them very well. My mom was in Colorado taking car of my grandma she was a HUGE Dale Sr fan. They watched the last lap of the '01 500 and saw him crash, but they never heard the announcement that "We lost Dale Earnhardt" We had to break the news. I know I was young, but I remember cheering for him!! I still hurts to know that he's gone.

R.I.P to all the racing drivers that have passed away.... A V8 supercar driver Jason Richards from my home country New Zealand recently passed away from cancer.... Really hits home when these people you have watched and looked up to all your life are now gone :( sad sad....
