The paint is just right. Scallops give any bike that 1950s retro-styling. I believe that Custom Chrome sells fork "gators" like the one on this machine.

Engine performance parts from Patrick Racing would be great but pricey.

I like the "gators." As a couple of suggestions: a set of high-low pipes with cocktail shaker/bell-tip mufflers (from Paughco) along with a Flanders # 2 bar. You did great work on this Star.
