@Halftrac When we traveled from Calif to Texas, I brought along extra containers of Gasoline that I filled up BEFORE entering AZ. We also bought plenty of food, water, etc. and everything necessary to NOT spend as single Penny in Arizona.  I only stopped to TAKE A PISS 2 times. then we spent the night in Gallup New Mexico, Went to a great Mexican Restaurant for Carne Asada & Margaritas.
