  • Slow as fuck. I had the same HD and it failed, this hard drive seems clunky and slow as fuck.

  • @KingMacintosh I have Lion installed now and Windows 7 Ultimate, both run & boot a hell of a lot faster than Snow Leopard and Professional for me.

  • 2 partitions or seperate hard drive??

cos i wanna dual boot mac and win 7 on my laptop with 1 hard drive in 3 partitions of 250gb 125gb and 125gb

  • @noscopesnipa I used seperate hard drives. Both OS' like to make backup partitions so I found the easiest way was to disable my secondary hdd, install OS X on the primary, get the bootloader going etc.. then renable the secondary and disable the primary, and install Windows, that way no partitions get mixed and when you renable both the OS X bootloader takes over :)

  • @Imtiaaz786

oh k so i cant dual boot win 7 and os x on my laptop with just 1 hard drive then??

i tried it on my desktop about 6 month ago and i had to reformat my whole harddrive and install win 7 again cos mac fucked up my hard drive and i lost all my programs and downloads

  • @noscopesnipa You probably can, but it'll be quite tricky!

  • WTF is Hackintosh?

  • Where do u live in

  • @giokabouter Its boots into Mac Iatkos 10.6.3 but a lot of things don't work. Video, Network, and Mouse drivers aren't working. I'm gonna try to find a way to update w/o breaking the OS and getting these drivers to work.

  • @ThisIsDjYigytugd Well, for me (GTX 280) they already came with Iatkos 10.6.3, so I didnt need to do anything for it. Sometimes i select wrong things, reinstalling like 5 times and it works perfect ;)

  • @giokabouter I got it working a month ago without deleting my windows. I do have Mac on my PC but it isn't working too good b/c I'm having issues installing the drivers.

  • @ThisIsDjYigytugd Yes u can partiotion it, easybcd handles it for you.

NOt sure how to say partione or something :p

  • @ankit866 That is because you need a boot CD, get iboot (Its only for i3/i5/7). Then ur in the cd, eject it, get your SL cd, press F4/F5/F6 dont remember. And bam ur done!

  • @m3m3t11 Its the same for me, i7 @ 4ghz,12 gig ram, GTX 280. Windows 7 is just so fucking slow, hackintosh boots in 20 secs. Windows 6 in like 1/2 minutes before i can actually do something.

  • Can I add Mac OS to my current Windows 7 harddrive without deleting the data I have on it now?

  • why windows 7 is very slow on your pc ?
