well in my opinion, if they make a new l3, i would really wonder how they would work with the characters, im sure alot of people will agree with me that alot of time money and hard work was put forth to making their toon into wat it is today, it would be great to drag the characters into a new game with better play style, so the fun can continue in the world of lineage, thats just wat i think

It's too late for l2, I'm afraid. What it should do is reinvent itself, while preserving key factors of its popularity. Most dissapointing thing about l2 is the general feel of gameplay. You don't feel connected to your char, movement is very limited and primitive, customisation is not even there compared with new mmo's.
What's needed is a new game alltogether. We allready know l3 is coming, and from what I've seen in Aion and Blade&Soul, NC Soft is well on its way to creating a masterpiece :-)

I agree the game is getting better in the sense that it can satisfy a larger group of players, not just l2 players. but being a veteran in lineage, I can understand why a lot of people think it's becoming worse. the game is slowly loosing it's identity, it was truly a unique game up until c5.
