  • Chappers you seem like one of the most contented, positive and inspiring people around. I take my hat off to you!

  • @JoeDP25 Thanks dude, I guess I am a very lucky guy ;-)

  • @RobChappers Hard earned and well deserved if you ask me :) I should stop before I start sounding sycophantic haha. But the bottom line is I really do admire you, you've turned me from casual guitar player to aspiring musician and I have much respect for you :) \m/

  • @JoeDP25 That means a lot to me mate! Cheers dude ;-)

  • I have a question for you.

What string gauge do you recomend for lower tuning (B standard or even lower)??

    /Hoppe

  • @ahoppu Hi dude, I would recommend a baritone or ERG for that type of tuning... You can do it with a 25.5 but it will just not be as punchy ;-)

  • @wesmatron Everyone has a natural speed limit, natural ability and physiology does play a part... But it's really all about becoming the best that you can be, and then more importantly writing music ;-)

  • You don't believe in metronome use?? *gasps*. Doesn't sound like u need one coming to think of it!

  • @Ningirsutyr Mate its not a matter of which...its a matter of..when.Basically you need both but its a good idea to start with alternate get at least decent at it..and then move to economy. Both are amazing if you do them right. If your hands arent synced when you do them...both sound sloppy.

  • Economy picking feels much more natural than straight alternate picking to me too :/ But Paul Gilbert always recommends practicing on alternate picking by saying that it improves the speed incredibly..

  • Man, you gotta do a video lesson inside improving vibrato and bends(or maybe i haven't seen all your videos? : p). Yours are immaculate Chappers!

  • @S0uLPiece when you play with a metronome it helps to play two notes for every note the metronome plays, so if the metronome is 40 bpm you should really be playing 80bpm. If your already doing that than it helps to just listen to the metronome and strum in beat with it, so if its 34bpm strum at 34bpm about 30 seconds and then try struming at 68bpm, that should help you get a feel for the tempo, than do the same with picking on a single string and try some scales.

  • "This is going to be" *gunshot* O.O the masacare area? :P

  • Chicks with breasts selling shit? What more could you want?

  • could anyone tell me what scale rob is useing from 3:15 - 3:25

  • Isn't it the PRS is the 2011 one and with the 57/09 pickups? good stuff !
