On Sunday November 4, 2007 I had the chance to go flying with Paul Farber in his T-6 Texan. We flew near the shores of Northport (including the smoke stacks), across Long Island, made a landing at Bayport (the grass strip), by Jones Beach, and back to Republic Airport in Long Island. While around Northport, we joined up with Paul's friend Larry, who flew his Piper Comanche and took up my friend Andrew (demar727 on YouTube), who took some pictures of the T-6 in flight. Following the photo flight portion, I got a chance to get some stick time in the T-6, which was absolutely awesome. The start up sequence in the beginning was taken after Paul took me flying, as he took up another person.

If you are interested in going flying in a T-6, please don't hesitate to send me a message. I will then forward you Paul's contact information so that you can set up a time and date to go flying with him.

If you are interested in purchasing DVDs of specific aircraft or of airshows, interested in everything related to airshows (where the jet teams will be, all airshow performers, airshow reports from airshows I have attended, previews of airshows I will be attending, etc.), and/or everything related to aviation - including spotting guides to my favorite airports and military bases and aircraft factfiles, please check out Steve's Airshow World at www.stevesairshow.com .
