@teracite I do NOT challenge that statement since I know luthier who used to work for Fodera and who makes beautiful basses of similar quality but for substantially less money (but here in Ukraine). For some people paying 9-11k for bass is OK and I can understand when working musicians (i.e. bassplayers who earn for life by playing their instruments) buy Foderas. You see know one atack taxi-drivers who buy cars usually at least for 10 grands to drive them and bring home the bacon.

@StepXX with 3000 euro you can have a really beautiful bass ( sandberg , sadowsky , f bass ect... ) . fodera ist juste a prestigious woodwind . if you have a money yeah take a fodera and processeur ect... no prob ;)

@teracite If you play it at home on sofa for years - it is indeed a joke. But if you make 500 USD per 2 session in studio - it is very serious.

Value is subjective - 8 years ago I could only dream about having Fender CS P-bass - now it is my "secondary" bass.
