CHILLS!........I'm talking "Hair standing on the back of your neck" chills. The more I hit the replay on this......the more chills I get. The mighty Temptations......greatest Male R&B vocal group in the history of musical entertainment.......WITHOUT DEBATE. May the spirits of Melvin Franklin & Ali-Ollie Woodson, my 2 personal all-time favorite Temptations, rest in God's eternal embrace.

What the heck was going thru Kareem's mind

@PaTudie they did'nt need ruffin and the harmony was great. that's my opinon. ali ollie woodson was my favorite temptation.
-
I expected more harmony...but still right on!!!! Where's Ruffin when you need him!!!
-
@temptsfan2 Kinda messed up that Ollie didn't do the lead vocal
-
not bad, not bad. not even close as magical as the year before with Marvin Gaye!!
-
Got to love it at 1:39 -- Dr. J and Larry Bird look at each other thinking Damn, if only we could sing like that.

Outside of the "Papa Was A Rolling Stone" line-up of Temptations........this was probably my 2nd favorite collection of Tempts, simply because it contained my 2 personal favorite Temptations of all-time; Melvin Franklin & Ali-Ollie Woodson. I've admired the Tempts since the days of "My Girl"........and this version of the "National Anthem" doesn't surprise me at all. they've been blowing peoples minds for over 50 YEARS.......and they're STILL DOING IT!

Just thinking, this had to be in Feb of 1984. Could this have been Ollie's first public appearance with the group?
