At least with President Obama America has a better chance of moving in the best direction towards improving our economy, health care, climate change, etc.

We need to get more progressive Democrats in office to help push him towards

more progressive ideas, but if Republicans take over this country will be put right back in the same mess again.

Don't give up on Obama, but by all means elect more progressives to the Democratic party so that we can get stronger reform.

I THINK WE GET SOOO WRAPPED UP IN PARTIES THAT WE FORGET THAT CONSERVATIVES AND LIBERALS ARE A FACTOR THAT CAN BE ON EITHER SIDE. A conservative CAN BE A DEMOCRAT ASS WELL. OR JUST IN THE MIDDLE (INDEPENDENT). So lets focus on who's right for making the country better. LETS LOOK AT THE HISTORY OF THE CONSERVATIVES AND LIBERALS INSTEAD OF THE ACTUAL PARTIES. I think we will find out a lot about todays politicians!

@captcrais101 Yes and thats why its not based on POLITICAL parties as much as it is based on political views. FOR INSTANCE: You can have a democrat and republican who are both conservatives. Or vice versa. TWO DIFFERENT PARTIES BUT THE SAME PRACTICAL BELIEFS AS A POLITICIAN. So thats why we need to look at whether the politician is conservative or liberal INSTEAD OF REPUBLICANS AND DEMOCRATS. That way we can by pass the "party's title" and focus on the person's views about the issues.
