Bush: Truly not concerned about bin Laden (short version)

Remember, this is just SIX MONTHS after 9/11. In response to a reporters question, President Bush tells the world that he is "truly not that concerned" with catching the man who murdered 3,000 Americans just six months and two days earlier because "we've marginalized him."

Please note that he ALMOST says "I don't know where he is, nor do I... (really care)." but catches himself in mid-sentence.

"He hides in caves while sending young people off to die."

@itisme877 OMG, you're off your frickin' nut. Bush was "uncomfortable" and had been planning the operation that finally got him "for ten years"? Bush apologists know no shame. OBL was a distraction to Bush. He entered office looking to attack Saddam, and six months after 9/11, he was dismissing OBL so he could refocus the country BACK on Iraq. When you're plotting the capture of OBL for "ten years", you don't shut down the OBL desk at the FBI (not to mention a decade of incompetence.)

you all are a joke..he's not even saying he doesn't care, he's explaining that there are more assholes out there like OBL that we need to be hunting down too..he knew OBL would hear this and didn't want to give him any ego boosts, its obvious Bush is dissing all the hype around that pukes name..OBL's death was initiated and made possible by Bush..Ovomit got the glory for 'giving the order'..a formality..but was carried out by the CIA..PERIOD..

A mere six months after 9/11, Bush is dismissing the man behind the worst attack on American soil in history so he can get back to planning his fraudulent case for war against Iraq.

As for Obama getting OBL, if the plan had failed and all those SEALs had been killed, who would of got the blame? The CIA?

When they killed Bin Laden he was in a mansion not a cave and he was using couriers to send orders to Al Qaeda. Bush was truly an idiot President for taking the CIA off the hunt for Bin Laden. They can do more than one thing. Bush seems to think the whole CIA just focuses on one person, no the CIA focuses on tens of thousands of people every day.

Bush committed "youngsters to their death" just as much if not more than Osama did. Plus hid daddy & Reagan trained & propped up bin Laden (and hell the bin Laden family even invested a bundle into the Bush family company 'Arbusto Oil' -- "arbusto" being the word for "bush" in Spanish  (or the Mexican language as Dumbya Bush once said ;-)

@jillzi7 no.. the President led navy seals on a mission dumbass.. and everyone has said this was the most bad-ass thing ever done by a President.. go read some news.. even the head of the CIA and Pentagon have come out to say that President Obama was really courageous to go through with this.. they had this show Targeting Bin Laden on History channel the other day.. check it out.
