Live looping with a DSI MoPho, USB controllers, and Lemur (near the end). The Novation Launchpad is controlling Ableton Live. Lemur is controlling NI's Massive, played on the Oxygen 25. The Akai MPD26 is controlling NI's Kontakt. All loops are recorded live, through a PreSonus AudioBox 1818VSL into a Macbook Pro. Lights are made by Chauvet and American DJ. Video shot with a Zoom Q3HD.

@gumdrops27 Ableton Live's looper will set the tempo and start the sequencer based on the length of the first loop you record in to it. It's also pretty good at figuring out if you meant to do multiple bars within the first loop. The YouTube channel of @nicoluminous has some great demonstrations of this (it's how I learned).

@marillo18 Thank you! Not yet, but hopefully soon! There's some recorded studio material at the bottom of my video playlist (the ones with the WinAmp visuals).

Do you quantize ur drums?
gumdrops27 1 month ago
@gumdrops27 Yes I do, although I wish I didn't have to! If the drums are the first loop, it can only be recorded as audio into the looper.
