The portable sequel to the NES game, its not as chaotic or fast paced as the original, but that doesn't make it any less a good game. The objective isn't to win a certain amount of races; the real objective is collect letters scattered on each track to spell the word "Nintendo" three times. Sounds easy? Well it isn't, because the letters are in places where you have to make split-second decisions which could cost you your position in the race. Luckily, there are power-ups similar to Mario Kart (which didn't come out for another year after this.) which can be used to fend off rival racers or tune your car up. When you spell Nintendo once, you get a new car. After you've spelt it a second time, you receive another new car. Once you've spelt it a third time, you've beaten the game.

@virusone25 It is slow at first, but after collecting several upgrades it gets pretty fast-paced and hectic.

Bad move :(. Still, on eBay, I've seen the odd cart for around 50p (I'm from the UK, I don't know how much it'd be in cents). Maybe a used game store might have them as well
