Best song on the album by far. I thought it was about young men going to war in Afghan. The opening sequence sounds like afgan tribal music. The lyrics seem to describe youngsters earning good money for being in the Army but then get sent away to play. Shelter from the storm (as in desert storm) Kids wanting a place in history, throwing them miles away. The womans lament at the end is evocative of her son/husband not coming back at the end.
