I'd have to disagree with that. Other than increasing the displacement from 6.9-7.3 liters in 1988 and offering a factory turbo in 93&94 Ford didn't make any significant changes until the Powerstroke debuted in 1994. Even though they aren't hotrods, these old IDI's are still in service today and are great engines.

I been buying all kinds of parts I want it to be super reliable & a 7 1/2 western plow makes it easy for this truck have a long way to go I'll post more videos...

6.9 was outdated for 1987 but that is a strong-ass engine
