Trolling for Marlin with 6 Heavy Tackle Game Rods - Honolulu, Hawaii

Life doesn't get much better than trolling for Marlin with 6 heavy tackle game rods out the back, calm seas and blue skies off the Hawaiian Islands. This was in the Gameboat "Magic" using Shimano Tiagra 130's and a Penn 80.

@Alf188188 i have penn internationals, they are a deep gold, the shimano tiagras are a soft beige, trust me ive used both, plus the two speed is operated differently,plus the shimano tiagras drag plate is much larger

@piguif You and curtgowdysharkhunter got me thinking and I've had a close look at the photo's of the day and you're both absolutely right. There's one Penn and 5 Tiagras. I must have got myself mixed up with another boat I was on that exclusively used Penn's.

just one international, you can also tell bu the handle and the knob on the lever for the drag, Alf is also correct on color and the drag plates.

It's so cool that you are close enough to see land. Off Ocean City MD. We have to run about 70 miles offshore to get to clean water like that
