Human and Equal Rights Organizers held an event Monday to protest a Food and Drug Administration policy that bans sexually active gay men from donating blood, KPHO-TVs Omadelle Nelsonm reports.

They want to make it "12 months like the other similar types of deferrals" instead of lifetime? That's fine, but what about discrimination? I don't see heterosexuals who have had intercourse with 5 different people in the last 12 months being ineligible... Unless I understand her statement wrongly, that's still discrimination.

human blood is blood, its not like homosexuality is something that is transimitted, or is gonna turn someone gay by haveing the blood of a gay man or woman in your body, what the fuck is wrong with societies way of thinking?, let the helpful help, how stupid are these people being byb now denying us the right to help by donateing blood to help those who need it? i thought we were supposed to evelove and grow as a society not stick to the same shit as before, wheres the fucken progress?
