god damn, i cant believe i just found my older self on youtube... We share the exact same interest to the T.. except i'm an import guy and i hope you voting Ron Paul lol. Currently working on my electronic engineering associate and 2 courses away from my cnc machining certificate. Subscribing!!
@323sarge nice, one thing of advice i'd give you, learn a CAD software and CAM software, if you are able to design a part and send it to a machine to cut, you will be able to get a job anywhere. Youtube and Google will be your best friend and from what i have experienced, you will learn faster by yourself than in a class room. i actually learned everything i know so far with a high school education. Not saying schooling is bad...
@323sarge but if you plan on taking classes after high school, i feel that college is way overpriced for the amount of knowledge you gain by the time it takes to get through all the classes, unless someone is going for being a doctor or something, then i would recommend college :).
If you like what you do then you'll learn it as fast as you want to learn it and If you're good with a computer you can find and learn anything you want.
