The market is great, but omnivores should also know that there are more than just great produce vendors: Spring HIll Cheese Co from Sonoma County, also sells great butter, from grassfed - not CAFO - cows; SonRise Ranch from Carmel Valley (near Monterrey), pastured and humanely raised beef, pork, and chicken (not CAFO); and over on the ready to eat food side, The Meat Man, sells traditional dry aged salami/saucisson.
