my prophet mohammed said"who teached u an alphabet u become a slave to him"

our prophet ordered us to learn swimming.so now i found why he said that.thanx again and again.good luck. :)

  • Jazz, Good luck to you. Keep in touch. Hope you looked at the latest video EVF What is it? Coach T.

  • Nice video! thanks. but I have a question.

When you use the string to strengthen your shoulders, actually the shoulders is pulling up instead of pulling down. When swimming, we hold the water downside so I suggest that we should tie the string on the ceiling and practice that position. What do you think?

  • Tim, Great question! The EVF is the opposite of pulling. There's a picture of Dara Torres in an article by the New York Times (she's holding weight plates in an EVF position). I'm going to do another video and go over this important idea. Thanks Tim! Coach T.

  • Thanxx!!!! :D

  • Tom, thanks for taking the time and effort to put these videos on the internet. I think the EVF stuff will help me a lot

  • Thanks ! Well Done !

  • Tom, this is excellent information. Very appreciative that you have posted it on the internet for all to benefit. I hadn't heard of the "EVF" technique prior to finding this today - my previous coaches talked about a "high elbow". I'm a late-comer to swim training and wish my previous coaches could have explained that it is a really unnatural movement and position of the elbow, and that the muscles have to be trained and re-trained daily to make and hold this movement. Thanks again!
