  • Huge O.O

  • @MisterDoctorNerd True for now, but what happens when Chrome has a de facto monopoly? I don't like that idea, even though at the moment I'm tending to use Chrome much more as a practical necessity. Not quite necessity... I could alway unplug from the 'net, right?

  • @MisterDoctorNerd I actually expect you're right, though for the Chrome netbook it *DOES* already have an effective monopoly. Not that I expect Google marketing will do much better with the netbooks (at least not right now) than it did with the Nexus One.

  • @ebbixx Chrome will never become a monopoly of a browser. at least not in America, as long as there are people who don't know shit about computers, there will be Internet Explorer users. no matter how much of a market share that alternate browsers take, IE will be the most dominant for a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG time.

currently, Chrome's fast dev schedule allows it to keep up with the upcoming web technologies more quickly.

also, in my experience, the dev channel is more stable than the stable FF.

  • firefox must be a whore.

  • @ebbixx switch to chrome. your memory leaks will disappear.

  • its good to think that my country may made the best browser

  • safari is hot! [obviously i'm only talking about the babe]

  • Given Firefox's current memory leaks, the idea of making browsers the center of app functioning is just a little bit scary.
