  • I'm getting this error: "0 objects joined, 2 objects discarded from the operation"

How can I fix it? Thanks

  • how can i join lines that are not connected?

  • does anyone know how to lessen the number of segments(vertices) on a polyline?

need to export them for 3d wireframes. t.i.a

  • one way to do this

1-make sure all the lines are joined together 2- type (PEDIT),leftclick on one segment of the line, (prompts) "do u want to turn it to a polyline?" Y,click "join"

    3- , select everything,{enter},done.

  • Fab well presented thought out and a perfect speed. just cleas consise steps. thank you cna you keep dooing so many more you are better than any cad teacher I have had this year..

your a star. 3D stuff here I come xx

  • Can someone tell what it is you type to join lines together , like when you zoom right into something and they have missed eachother ?? i thought it was called "regent" but ..its not lol

  • Thank you very much, simple explanation of the problem and a well presented solution. If only all tutorials were like this!

  • thank you so much !! loved your way of teaching & it was really helpful :)

  • @stoob1969 It is weird how you have to remember to use Edit Polyline and remember to have everything touching, the join command should just have to be used and come up with the menu of options. Why make a simple command so difficult?

  • What a rigmorole of joining with edit polyline. Inventor is so much more easier and intuative.
