Howlin' Wolf (Chester Burnet) is an inspiration to me and many other blues musicians across the world. His powerful singing voice is the sort of talent that only comes in generations.
I've nicked a few wolf clips off the tube and hopefully as well as showing off my cover of his song I can give him 1/100th of the sort of tribute he deserves for his contribution to music.
The Clips of me are pretty awful to be honest, but it was either just a picture slideshow or these terrible clips and I think that youtube should be a place for videos where possible.
Onto the music, i dont think this is a particularly great cover of this chess record, the guitar playing is way below slumlins on the record and the singing is way off the great wolfs. It was originally just to have a mess about with DAW software Reaper, but it seems to have turned out to be a tribute to one of the most talented men on the 20th century.
