25 MPH cross headwind made this a SCARY night to be on slicks. The drag radial guys were able to run hard but if you were on slicks you either didn't run or ran skurred!! :D I had to let off several times to keep from hitting the wall. My launch times are improving dramatically and I love how the Caltracs catapult you forward!! Notice the car lift and launch forward instead of squatting. 351W .40 over, 13.5:1 compression, Dart heads, .646 lift solid roller, 4-speed toploader with a 9" rear end, 4.10's on a Detroit Locker. This was a modest launch at 3K RPM resulting in a 1.80 60 foot on a mild burnout 16 lbs of air in the tires....just taking it easy for the first time out with the new suspension.
