Carenado Cessna 172N Skyhawk II (payware)

Sounds: Default

Scenery: Flight Zone 01 Rhode Island (payware)

Environment: Active Sky 6.5, Real Environment Pro

Traffic: None

Airport code and time: KSFZ. You guys guess the time! :P It's in the video somewhere.

I must say this is one helluva nice aircraft. It's definitely worth the money and you get what you pay for. You buy a Cessna, you get a Cessna. Everything's good about this aircraft: the sounds, the flight model, the flying dynamics, etc.

I would recommend it to anyone looking for some GA VFR fun.

  • Very nice video! From takeoff to landing, it was a 45 minute pattern. :)

  • HA! I've been waiting all this time for someone to notice that!

  • Very good video and landing!!! I already did 638 circuits but I never know when to turn to the next leg, can you please explain???

  • I've never flown before so I won't talk you into false facts about when to turn and so forth. All I do is take the experience learned from the simulator lesson and put it into effect whenever I fly around an airport.

I would say to turn on the crosswind leg about 30-45 seconds after take off. Then turn on the downwind leg when reaching pattern altitude. Turn on base when the end of the landing runway is at about 45 degrees behind your aircraft. Turn on final and intercept the glide slope.

  • supposed to stay withing gliding distance of the strip, video didnt show your legs clearly at all but from the look of it it seemed you were a bit to far, half the wingstrut is around what the cessna can float to.

  • Thanks for the clarification. I simply did this video to showcase my new addition into my fleet of virtual aircraft. :)

  • @thestig747 flight1 have a cessna 182 which as g1000 on it u should check it out

  • @thestig747 ya so am I, and i agree that carenado should, but idk how far u are in your lessons but its better to learn in standard gauges so you should fly the standard gauge in the sim and the g1000 irl. Cus trust me a bit further down the line you will get the shot to fly other airplanes.

  • ah, that plane is good fun, im training on a 172, both analogue and Garmin G1000, wish that carenado made it with the glass cockpit as well. Do you know where I can get a good G1000 172 for fsx? thanks

  • this shit sucks anus

  • @guy014 subbed, sub back?

  • nice

  • @FlyinTheNetherlands you are suposed to turn crosswind after you reach 600´AGL, the downwind leg, after crossing the end of the runway, start descend and wait 30 seconds, then turn base, and then final

  • Altimeter indicates aircraft is below sea level at beginning of takeoff run.

Always a good idea to set the altimeter before flying.

  • is this X-Plane ?

  • What u use for the head shaking?
