"My Girl", released December 21, 1964, is a 1965 number-one single recorded by The Temptations for the Gordy (Motown) label. Written and produced by Miracles members Smokey Robinson and Ronald White, the song became the Temptations' first U.S. number-one single, and is today their signature song. Robinson's inspiration for writing this song was his wife, Miracles member Claudette Rogers Robinson, and he originally intended to have his group record the song.

  • these bitches dont know whats about to happen................... the slide out

  • @SUAZOFAMZ yes i agree, however they did not have as many of bitches, sluts and hoes as we do today. a example of this may be simply be snooki, for she applies to all three of those categories. i agree with everything you say. my generation is a terrible peice of shit spawned from hell. have a good day:)

  • we sang this song for choir :) this was everyones favorite song, all the women were screaming after we were done. :D that was one of my best high school moments

  • I love it. g naght

  • @SUAZOFAMZ Very good point! You are right: music was beautiful then and ugly now. But where do you put Betty Wright's "You're a hoe and you don't know"? Tough lyrics, but a beautiful song.

  • got to love a bit of synchronized dancing and matching suits

  • @craftymomma1 the old ones are still here and still dress classy, YOU JUST HAVE TO FIND THEM! lol

  • @SUAZOFAMZ Well that's not true, there are a lot of great gals around, you just have to find them, lol, keep lookin there around, lol.

  • @SUAZOFAMZ I agree with you somewhat. However lets face it now days women are Bitches, sluts & hoes - among other things. Back when this song was done women dressed classy & today most just dress trashy! Women use to have respect for themselves, unfortunately that is now a rare quality. :(
