thanks. when my friend and i finished making it we had fog spray and it looked really cool but we ended up useing it all before the video was made.

I tried to run my Green pointer off 12v and it died. May be I had it wired wrong or need a smaller A/C power pack? How did you wire the pos and neg the battery compartment of the pointer?

i didnt run it off 12v the 12v is for the amplifier and the motor that spins the mirror the laser is only working off 3v i used a variable voltage regulator set to 3 via 2 resistors DONT run them off 12v use the voltage that the batteries would supply so some run off 2 aaa batteries and some can run off 3 or more of those small button batteries and for the pos and neg look which way the batteries go. hope this helps

i dont have any schematics coz i used an old pc speker amp but its just the speker output connected to a DC motor wich virbrates a mirror and for the circle just mount a round mirror on a motor and to make it better add a speed control to the motor the voltage regulator is for the laser wich works ok 3v im useing 12v hope the helps might make another vid explaning everythink if more people dont understand.

Check out some of my vids i use speakers instead of glavo's! been working out pretty well, im gunna up grade to a few HDD read arms pretty soon!
