yeah i get that issue too> i import the text... but that lower-plane-backround still remains. You managed to get rid of it... how?:|

Maybe try using a symmetrical lattice? That would get rid of the thin background.

You forgot to show the levels clipping and checking "render as solid" in one of the options. But other than that, it's all good. Bryce is easy peasy for stuff like this in comparison to more expensive or complicated 3D rendering applications.

Bryce itself isn't too large -- my Bryce 5 folder is only 120 megs, I believe. I have gigabytes of textures and models and scenes and animations that I have saved, however. :)
