The live TV broadcast of "Remember This" broadcast in Aug 1974. THERE IS NOW A BETTER QUALITY (VIDEO AND AUDIO) copy of this video on the 'JohnSunter' You Tube channel. The band had only been together 8 weeks and had not at this time added 'Al' on tenor saxophone and yes it was live and we spent the time offstage at the end of the bar out of camera shot because it was also real booze!

  • Too True, we needed a TV engineer, it was taken from an old VHS copy, as i said on the link, there is a better quality copy on the 'JohnSunter' You Tube pafe.

  • Kevin-Incredibly i was looking for some Grumbleweeds stuff and this popped up and my jaw dropped. Chrissie is my daughter Cheryl's Godmother and i have lost count of the number of times i have seen you and the band's great live performances. May i wish you, and all the family, good health and happiness and many Happy New Years to come and humble thanks for all the fond memories and making my day. Warm Regards - steve littlewood.

  • @stevelittlewood11 Hi Steve, I remember you well even though it was a long time ago, strange how things turn up on the web eh what, if you want to contact Chrissie you will find her on Facebook under her normal nom de plume 'Chrssie Holland', glad you enjoyed the videos, it was fun putting it all together and up to now (with the version of the Wheeltappers that is on John Sunter's YouTube page) they have had over 25,000 hits, not bad for soemthing recorded over 35 years ago! Stay Blessed,

  • You could do with a TV engineer calling round to fix that bloody tele.....

  • @MrKimmageKevin Warmest Greetings and many thanks for your quick reply. It is so good to hear from you again and watch your and the band once more. All your music posts have been downloaded and will go into my permanent collection. Who could have predicted 35 years later your band could still be seen by interested people globally in their own homes including me - the worlds worst typist. Take good care of yourself and Keep On Rocking.

  • @SuperBilly68 No, it was Colin Crompton, the host.

  • Was that frank skinner reading the beano

  • whell, that was brill thanks.....
