Lets take a closer look at the enTourage eDGe
The Worlds First Dualbook.
It has two screens an e-reader on one side, and a tablet netbook on the other.
Its unique double hinge lets you open it like a book
Use it horizontally like a netbook
Fold it back completely to use just the e-reader
Or use it as a tablet netbook.
The e-reader screen is as easy on your eyes as real paper. Use the stylus on this side, to navigate, write, draw, and select text.
The netbook side has a full-color touchscreen. You can use your finger OR the stylus to navigate type and scroll. Explore the enTourage eDGe for extra functions that come up if you press and hold its like right-clicking on your computer.
On the e-reader side, the zoom button changes font size. The forward and back buttons change pages. And the switch apps button lets you switch back and forth between the Reader application (for e-books) and the Journal application (for notes).
On the netbook side, the menu button opens different menus in each application. Press and hold the menu button to show the on-screen keyboard.
The home button takes you to the home screen. Press and hold it to see your recent apps. The track ball scrolls through links, and pressing it opens them. The rotate button turns the touchscreen ninety degrees. The back button exits, cancels, or takes you back to your previous screen.
The enTourage eDGe has an SD card reader, and two USB ports for attaching keyboards, Ethernet adapters, memory sticks, and more. Or plug the included cable into the mini USB port to transfer files to and from your computer.
Two built-in microphones let you record audio up to 30 feet away, or you can plug in a microphone. Then you can listen with the built-in stereo speakers, or plug in your own headphones.
With the built-in camera, you can take still photos or record videos.

@FoKGoodGuy Yes, a doesn't have a e-ink display, but Apple makes up for the by the SIZE of the battery. So, yes it does take battery, but you really have to read basically all day with not break do even MAYBE get it to 50%. If reading and battery life is your thing then get the Kindle.

@mjiscool2345 The iPad doesn't have an eInk-display, making its battery life while reading e-books significantly worse.
