@KSmoothSaxG I think you missed my point. What I said was, the mainstream music that teenagers of the 90's listened to was nothing like The Get Up Kids sound, they were so underground. Then they boomed, and now in the modern age our mainstream music is highly influenced by bands like this, but its not the same feel as it used to be

Since when is garage emo mainstream? It's still really underground. Look into your local bands and moderately popular garage emo bands. They are all over the place and have a tight, but moderate, fan base. Chalk Talk, By Surprise, 1994!...

And the show was with Mineral!

I recognize this instantly as a show in Ithaca...Fall of 1997, it was the day Four Minute Mile was released. I know because I have footage from it as well and I was standing against the wall to the right!

Sounds great! Thx for posting

@jmdlc85 Well mainstream music wasn't like this, College rock was. This is like College music in the 90's, garage emo kind of shit. Then the decade passed and people learned about it, then Emo became the new Mainstream music, leaving behind everything it stood for in the 90's....

What year is this? I would have to guess 1997 when Four Minute Mile came out or the Loveteller Ep release.

Its funny how we are all saying how 90's this is. But the sound these guys created was awesome! they were way ahead of there time! Just try to remember the popular music that was out this time, it was nothing like this.
