hi, I have a question, I am getting a shiba in two days, and I wanted to know, how soon you walked your dog, since I read that it is not good to take the dog outside because of the Distemper issues. Please let me know when it is the safest for the pup. Thanks.

@lilliesu Distemper? Well, Mika was vaccinated as a puppy, and every year since that for Distemper. Certainly, with Shiba Inu, most will need to be on a leash, or they'll get away from you fairly quickly. Some do off-leash, but I believe it's a rarity.
