I try to say this to so many people...you FEEL the blues you don't play it, the music comes from emotion unlike all the crap we hear today about bitches and slapping women...

Not all British rock was Blues based. The Stones were, but the Beatles weren't. There were two different kinds of British bands in those days, the Blues Based, and the Mersey Beat. Big difference. I have always preferred the Stones to the Beatles. Fleetwood Mac started out as a Blues band...look up their old, original stuff before they went pop. I could go on and on here about the different sounds of the 60s & 70s, but if you weren't there you wouldn't understand.

There are plenty of blues songs about shooting/beating their woman, howlin wolf allegedly once tried to have muddy waters killed over changing his record, these guys aren't any more morally responsible than waka flocka.

Come on guys..You're talking about the colours black and white while a man singing to all of us just to make us feel the blues wherever they came from...and for the people΄who are trying to compare the old and the new blues songs i want to say that it' s beautifull to admire the flowers but we have to respect their roots..!!!!!!!!!

The first time a black girl took off her underware and threw them on stage it was on account of a guy who singing the BLUES. When the white girls started doing the same thing.... they called that ROCK N ROLL!!!

Very few whites were allowed in to the garden. Johnny Winter, Paul Butterfield, the Chess brothers, even Bing Crosby. But only a handful were of the black man;s calibre.
